Chicken Soup for the Soul recently came out with a new book entitled "New Mom," and it's my favorite to date! I love being a mom, and even though my little girl is now over a year old and I don't consider myself a "new" mom anymore, the stories in here have been really fun and touching to read. Whether you are a new mom yourself or you know a new (or soon to be) mom you should definitely consider purchasing this book! You can buy it from Amazon.com for $10.17!
You also have a chance to win it from my blog! I will pick THREE winners to each receive a copy of this book! Just use the form below to enter.

My Favorite mommy moment, was this week.
ReplyDeleteThis has been a very ROUGH week, if you look at me I cry, if I have 2 minutes to myself I cry, it has been one of those "what can go wrong, will go wrong" type of weeks.
My 4 year old saw me crying, and he said "Mommy, if I do this *insert funny face* will it make you happy?" I said Absolutely and gave him my biggest smile. I'm not big on crying around my boys all week, I like positive energy and happy thoughts, I don't mind them seeing me cry, but this week has been a time that leaves much to be desired...
2 days later my 4 year old came barreling in the kitchen when I was doing dishes and said "Mommy, can I have a bottle of water?" I wiped my cheeks (because I don't know about all of you but when this Momma does dishes she thinks and reflects on her week) and turned to him and said "Absolutely hunny" I went to the fridge to get the jug of water, and when I turned back around, there was my compassionate, loving, empathetic, ever so sweet 4 year old making that same funny face "Don't cry Mommy, I make you happy, see *insert funny face*" And he is right, no matter how low I feel, I am truly lucky to have 2 wonderful boys.
~From the happy mom of a funny face making lil boy, who will always bring me a smile~
Mine happens almost on a daily basis and I'm going to treasure it as long as I can because I know it won't last forever! My 3 yo almost daily will out of the blue tell me "Mommy I love you sooo much". Sometimes it's happy sounding, other times it sounds almost as if she can't believe she loves me that much! LOL
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to give a bug hug to Cloth by Tel! {{{{{{{{{{{{Hug}}}}}}}}}}}}} We've all been there done that and trust me it does and will get better! I hope you get to see this!
ReplyDelete@Amanda, thank you chicka!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite mom moment so far, is the look on my son's face when I go to get him out of his crib in the morning. He looks so happy to see me! It absolutely warms my heart. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite mommy moment was after my 2nd child was born and my son was meeting his new baby sister for the first time. He looked at her and said "Welcome to our family." Brings tears to my eyes thinking about it even now!
