Febreze Carpetcare Dance While You Clean Contest

I recently had a chance to work with Febreze on a review and giveaway for this blog, and I wanted to share a new contest that they are having with all of you: Febreze Carpetcare Dance While You Clean Contest.

Home Care Industries, Inc. announces the launch of “The Febreze® Carpet Care Dance While You Clean Video Contest” that will begin May 1, 2011 and run through December 31, 2011. Home Care Industries licenses the Febreze® brand for carpet cleaning products from The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE: PG). The contest, which will be hosted on the febrezecarpetcare.com website, asks consumers to send in a video of them dancing with a vacuum or deep cleaning machine for a chance to win one of seven $1,000 monthly prizes (May – November) and, thereby, be entered in the December Dance Off for the $5,000 grand prize. 


To participate, consumers download one of six different musical selections representing a different genre of music to dance to (Urban, Country, Rock/Alternative, Latin, Pop, Dance/Electronica), record a video of themselves dancing and then submit it. Each month the video that receives the most votes will receive $1,000 and become a finalist in the December “Dance-Off” which will determine the grand prize winner to be awarded $5,000. Monthly winners will be announced a week after the months ends with the announcement of the Grand Prize Winner concluding the Contest in the first week of January, 2012.


All consumers who register to vote will be entered into a weekly $100 sweepstakes and sent a Febreze® Coupon booklet with $14 worth of savings off both the Febreze® Carpet Care product line and other Febreze® favorites for use at retail stores!
