Chicken Soup for the Soul: Say Hello to a Better Body! Review and Giveaway

Weight Loss and Fitness for Women Over 50

Inspiring Chicken Soup for the Soul stories and accessible leading-edge medical information from Dr. Suzanne Koven of Harvard Medical School. Women over 50 fight menopause, creaky joints, busy lives, and other factors that interfere with their quests for weight control and fitness. These advice-filled stories from women over 50 who have figured out how to get fit are combined with Dr. Koven's practical advice and medical information. You won't have any more excuses!

So, I'm not yet 50 (although I am more than  half way there) and I have to say, I'm pretty happy not to be going through menopause or creaky joints yet. I also, thanks to some wonderful genes, don't tend to struggle with my weight. However, as I looked over this book, I believe it would certainly be great encouragement to women over 50 who are trying to stay lose weight and be physically fit. This Chicken Soup for the Soul book is a little different from what you are used to. There are still the heartwarming stories that you are used to, but this book also incorporates advice from Dr. Koven in each chapter. You will also notice that this book is smaller, so you'll have it read in no time and one your way to a healthier life!

You can purchase this title at Amazon.com or at your favorite book retailer.

I'm pleased to be able to give away 3 copies of this book to my readers! If you'd like a chance to win, just fill out the easy Rafflecopter entry form below. Good luck!

  1. My best advice is to learn portion control and workout daily even if it is parking far away from the store!

  2. Hmm. My best advice is to make a REASONABLE lifestyle change instead of going on a "workout or eating" MAJOR change. You need to do something that you will be able to KEEP doing.

Start smaller with making healthy HOME cooked meals.

And take a 30 minute walk each day.

    Build up from there.
