It seems that you can never be prepared quite enough for a new babies arrival. I mean you can be prepared, but to really make life easier...well you just keep discovering products along the way that you will later wonder how you ever did without.

With baby #1 and #2 I was given a baby shower and at both I received "Baby Grooming kits". They were items that were just ok. For the most part I found myself tossing many of these items. There were little hairbrushes that really didn't brush, nail clippers that didn't clip and so on. With our first 2 little ones I used the little comb that came with my husbands hair cutting kit and..I must confess I bit their nails, that just seemed to be the best way to trim them.

With baby #3 I was given the chance to review some adorable little items from Japonesque.

I have to say I was a little skeptical, with my past luck with baby grooming products I just wasn't sure how great these would be. Plus they were SO cute...could they really be so adorable and work well? YES they can! I used the penquin nail clippers on our 18 month old and he sat so still the whole time, he just thought the little penquin was so cute, he watched the whole time! The clippers worked great as well. I am always afraid of getting to close to the skin, but I was able to easily position the clippers and they cut so easily! I also have been using the adorable alligator comb on our 18 month old and it just glides through his hair so easily! I love it!! The hair cutting shears are great too! My oldest son had a few stray long hairs from a cut his dad gave him so I used these to trim him up and they work great!!! They are also fun since their case turns them into a giraffe. The baby hippo brush is great too! Our little girl has more hair that either of our boys had so I do brush it after bath time..just so its not a fuzzy mess ;-) and this brush is so soft! I love it!!

The only items I haven't used yet are the first aid scissors and the nail scissors and file. They are adorable as well though! Especially the nail scissors, they look like a kangaroo and the nail file is a baby kangaroo that goes in mama's pouch!!! Adorable!!!  I just love these products!

You can purchase any of these items at hqhair.com or drugstore.com and one of you will win a set of these wonderful products for your little one, or gift them to a friend! Please fill out the entry form below for your chance to win, we will leave this open until Friday Oct 12th. Good Luck!
