Some of you may think I'm super organized, but the truth is, I'm not. Honestly sometimes I feel like I just don't have TIME to be organized. I've got so much other stuff going on that the organization falls by the wayside at times. I can't tell you HOW many times I've been rushing to get out the door and realize I need to pack the diaper bag still. Now that I've got 2 young kids, the diaper bag is even more complicated. I've got to make sure I have 2 sets of clothing changes, diapers for the baby, underwear for his sister (although it wasn't long ago that it was 2 different sizes of diapers!) snacks, drinks, toys, emergency items, you know the drill. And sure, I try to leave the diaper bag packed from the last trip but something my husband takes the kids....and the diaper bag.....enough said!
I was just introduced to this really neat company that set out to make diaper bag packing a breeze! Meet Diaper Bag Dailies! Diaper Bag Dailies offers pre-packaged kits that fit into your diaper bag and provide essential items for diapering, feeding, changing, soothing and playing with your baby or toddler. Currently they offer eight kit varieties; each kit includes a handy suitcase with a mix of reusable items (like pacifiers, teething rings, nail files and onesies) and daily items (diapers, wipes, diaper cream, snacks). They also offer refill packs so you can start with the full kit and then replenish your daily items with refill inserts. Have a hard time remembering things? No problem, you can even set up a subscription so that refills are automatically sent as often as you’d like! Diaper Bag Dailies kits range in age from newborn to preschool.
Our van had a tire blow out earlier this week and the kids and I were stranded along the side of the Interstate for a while as we waited for my husband and a tow truck. It was while we sat there that I realized I HAD to get an emergency kit together for our van (and stayed in our van!) that included snacks for the kids, diapers, wipes, drinks--basically the things you're going to find in these kits. Lots of time I run out to make a "quick" errand--maybe just to the post office and back, so I don't even bother dragging the diaper bag along. LUCKILY I had my diaper bag with me for this trip, but what if I left it at home?! We hadn't eaten any lunch because we were going to eat while we were out and my daughter was hungry. I found an old, crumbled up snack bar in the bag that she was very happy to have, but we had no drinks. Lesson learned!!
I would love to have a few of these kits to keep in the car for emergencies, and some for my diaper bag as well to make getting out of the house a breeze. I think these kits would make a GREAT baby shower or Christmas gifts! I know I'd appreciate receiving one!
Diaper Bag Dailies Starter Kits range in price from $26-$40. This year, I'm excited to feature Diaper Bag Dailies in my Holiday Store on Facebook! You can purchase the standard, works for most situations kit, "Crib Kit" for $30 or the "Green & Organic Kit" for $32 with FREE SHIPPING when you order through my store. Other kits, including their "Airplane," "Sick Kid" and "Potty Training" kits are available through their website.
