I have gotten a few different sets of pots and pans over the years, but at this point, most of them are looking pretty rough. When the pots arrived, I have to admit that my first initial impression wasn't too good. When I picked up the pots they felt really light--much lighter than the other pots I've used in the past. I worried that they might be cheap and not very good. BUT, of course, it is my job to review them, so I decided to use these pots exclusively for a month and see what I thought.

I can honestly say that after using the pots for a month, I really like them, really like them! I HAVE been hand washing them (which, truthfully I see as their only drawback because I love being able to put things in the dishwasher) and they are still looking great!

Because my son is starting to eat solid foods, the steamer insert has been AWESOME! I steam all kinds of things in there to blend up for my baby. One time, I wasn't paying attention and let all of the water evaporate. When I finally realized what had happened, the pot looked like this (well, I started to clean it--you'll see where, and then realized I should take a picture first:

I was SO afraid that I had just ruined my new pots. I let is soak, rubbed the bottom, rinsed it, then put a little baking soda in the pot and rubbed that around. After a final rinse, my pot looks like this:

I've done this to other pots and was NOT able to get them clean like this again. Having a set of pots that can handle the abuse I put them through means a lot to me! After using them for a month, the pots work great and still look brand new! I'm 10xs happier with these pots than I thought I would be. After my month of exclusively using these pots, my old pots are going in the yard sale box!
