If you have been following Open Hands for long you might remember over the summer we were sent a fun backpack for my oldest from Raskullz that my son just loved! So I was thrilled to have the chance to work with them again and try out one of their helmets and new scooters!
When it came time to choose a helmet for my oldest it was a hard decision! The Raskullz helmets are so fun! We finally decided on the Shark Finn from the Krash line which is geared towards kids ages 8+, now if you have been following you know that my oldest is just about to turn 5...but he has a big head ;-) so I measured his head before we decided on a helmet and he was at 53cm, just 1cm under the recommended size for this helmet, so we went with it. :) When it arrived my oldest was so excited!! He is really good about wearing a helmet when he is out playing on his road toys, but his was getting on the small side so it was starting to get uncomfortable and becoming more of a battle. He loves the cool design of this shark helmet and runs to get it before riding his toys outside (he will actually even wear it inside when he is riding his scooter through the hall way)!
We were also sent one of the new Raskullz scooters. Since my boys are my oldest kiddos we were sent the shark version. ;-) This arrived right before Christmas and my momma was stumped over a final gift idea for my almost 2 yr old, so I told her if she wanted she could give this to him. ;-) So my dad came over , and took this home to get ready for Christmas day. They said it was really easy to assemble, it only took about 5-10 minutes.
My mom is such a fun grandma and she dressed up as Santa Claus and left some of the boys presents on their back porch during our Christmas Eve dinner. (She even made her costume herself)
My youngest boy was so excited to see this scooter there, we had recently received another one and my boys were fighting over it all the time! SO to have another one was a fun idea to everyone!
This scooter is really fun with the shark head on the front , the only downfall about that shark head is it makes the scooter harder to stand on its own, it falls over unless you have it propped up on something so its not an easy indoor toy...which is not a big deal, I mean scooters are typically for outdoors...its just REALLY cold right now, so we like to use them inside during these months. :)
My boys make do though and love to try to ride this through the house, I think once the warmer months come and we can get outside they will really enjoy this scooter. The Raskullz scooters come in shark or cat! You can purchase these directly on the Raskullz website and one of you will win your choice of scooter!
Please fill out the entry form below for your chance to win. This giveaway will remain open until Wed. Feb 13th. Good Luck!!
