~Let's Eat & Be Messy~ Peter Rabbit Organics Baby Food

Today is Day 18 in the Let's Eat & Be Messy Event hosted by the
Thrifty Nifty Mommy Blogger Network! Today we are featuring
{Review done by Megan at Housewife on a Mission}

About Peter Rabbit Organics:
Peter Rabbit Organics is a small, privately-owned company. They are passionate about what they do and have a lot of fun working together!  They started Peter Rabbit Organics for the simple reason that they found it hard to find healthy snacks with no added salt, sugar or artificial ingredients. They wanted to create a product that was healthy, delicious, convenient and suitable for both you and your little ones. They never cut corners and ensure that whatever they make gets a full thumbs up from all the team and their special taste testers before it goes into the stores.

All their products are produced in Oregon, USA and where possible they use local ingredients sourced from within the US.

I received 3 pouches of Peter Rabbit Organics Baby Food Veggie Blends: Carrot Squash & AppleSweet Potato Corn & Apple, and Pumpkin Carrot & Apple

What I give my son to eat is really important to me. I want the the best quality food for him, which is why I make 70% of his baby food. This is because I know what is going into this mouth, all whole foods with no added nothing. This is not always easy when we are on the go or need a something for him to eat that's quick and convenient. This is where Peter Rabbit Organics is my "go to" for baby food! They have 3 promises to me and all of their customers. Those 3 promises are: everything they make will always be 100% organic, 100% healthy (no added sugar, no added salt and nothing artificial) and always taste 100% delicious.

Those 3 promises are important to me and Peter Rabbit Organics have kept their promise! I have tried the 3 pouches they have sent me and they are seriously so good that I wanted to eat more. Of course I'm not going to steal my baby's food hahah :)  My son loved eating out of the pouches, I did help him squeeze them as he still needs to get used to doing that on his own. He LOVED all 3 of the pouches I was sent, but I would say his favorite was the Sweet Potato, Corn & Apple. Take a look at him enjoying his meal!

I also put some into a bowl so that you can see what it looks like.

Isn't the color just gorgeous?! The texture is so smooth and nice, it's great for babies ages 6 months and up. Peter Rabbit Organics is really perfect for any age. My 4 year old doesn't get enough green veggies into her diet (except broccoli which she loves) and these veggie blends like the Pea Spinach & Apple and Pear & Pea are a great snack choice for her. She doesn't need to know it has green veggie goodness for her!

Another great thing about the Peter Rabbit Organic pouches are they are BPA free, and to make your life easier there is no need for a spoon- no risk of spilling food. Plus you can reseal it for finishing later by putting it in your fridge and using it within 48 hours.

  16. If little guy is anything like his sis, then he'll probably like the carrot squash and apple. We will be starting solids in about 2 weeks when he is 6 months old, so it will be a little bit before we get into anything blended.
